Tuesday, May 22, 2012, was held the first meeting of the SSC Napoli with the theme “medicine .. in professional football”, the location was the technical center inCastel Volturno where taking life tactics and training of the Naples team. Theprotagonist, along with President Aurelio De Laurentiis, the captain PaoloCannavaro and Aronica, was the team doctor Dr. Alfonso De Nicola creator and coordinator of the event.
Many industry experts who came from all over Italy and connected live on SkySports from Coverciano, the doctor of the National Castellaci Henry. The debate was centered around the importance of medicine and the latest technological developments in the evolution of professional football.

Oltre alla vittoria in Coppia Italia ed all’ottimo piazzamento in campionato, il Napoli può vantare un pool di medici esperti che sono stati in grado di gestire in maniera esemplare i propri calciatori risultando, a fine campionato, come la squadra di calcio con minori problematiche legate ad infortuni.
Il dott. De Nicola, con l’occasione, ha potuto lanciare il progetto dei corsi universitari per medici e fisioterapisti specializzati.
Il convegno è stato patrocinato dai due Atenei napoletani (Federico II e Seconda Università) con le rispettive scuole di specializzazione di Medicina dello Sport.
